Band 6 Nurse Team Leader (NTL) - Mental Health

Pay rates negotiable

Shift Timing: Monday to Friday (09:00 - 17:00)

Location: Hellesdon/ Wymondham

We are currently looking for Band 6 Nurse Team Leader (NTL) specialized in Mental Health for an ongoing position. A candidate must have current NMC registration.

Job Specification: 

  • This opportunity is for a band 6 to work within the assessment/brief intervention part of the adult community mental health team. Any experience in this field or with this client group would be advantageous. Applicants must be able to work independently, under pressure and be confident in making sound clinical decisions.
  • Must have the ability to work independently, work as part of a team, maintain patient records, maintain professional standards and follow codes of practice, commitment to providing patient centred care.
  • Must be IT literate and have breakaway training.
  • Must have previous experience of working with a similar client group and previous experience within mental health.
  • Previous experience within a similar service and setting would be an advantage.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrable critical thinking skills in clinical decision making.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills.
  • Experiences of key-working and care planning.
  • Demonstrable critical thinking skills in clinical decision making.
  • Willing to undertake education/courses relevant to an area of practice and service development.
  • Evidence of updating practice and continued professional development.
