RMN or RNLD in Wales 

Currently we are looking for Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse to work within care homes/centres throughout the Country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a nurse you will be expected to assist in the delivery of quality  care to patients within your ward/unit. You will work alongside other nurses, healthcare assistants and healthcare professionals to ensure that all duties are completed.
  • You will be assessing patients and carrying out relevant tests and examinations. You will be expected to give advice and information to  patients and administer medication.
  • You will be expected to demonstrate critical thinking skills in clinical decision making.
  • Please note RMNs must have MAPA Training (The Flamelily healthcare are able to provide this training if you do not have this already.)
  • You will be expected to demonstrate critical thinking skills in clinical decision making.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills.
  • You will need to be confident in decision making.
  • You should be willing to undertake education/training courses relevant to area of practice.
  • Willing to undertake education/courses relevant to area of practice and service development.
  • Evidence of updating practice and continued professional development.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals and families
  • Customer focused and to continually develop the services we provide;
  • Promote ownership of care programmes by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programmes;
  • Fulfil professional and legal responsibilities with respect to the safe storage handling and administration of medicines;
  • Awareness of Health and Safety, ensuring the safety of our services users and colleagues.


  • Current NMC Registration
  • MAPA Training,
  • DBS Check,
  • Proof of relevant immunity’s,
  • Able to provide evidence and references of working in a clinical setting.
  • Experience working as a RMN or RNLD
  • Valid NMC Pin
  • 2 references (Senior Staff)
  • Current DBS 
  • MAPA, MVA or Control &Restraint trained
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards;
