Staff Training

This ensures that everyone who encounters our service has a positive experience of doing so. It is thus our company policy that all of our staff go through a mandatory induction, which is provided in house by the agency. This training includes the following:

• Care of clients with learning disabilities
• NVQ Level 2 in care for support workers and healthcare staff

• Safeguarding of Adults and Children in work places
• Introduction to challenging behaviour
• Medication Training for Nurses
• Data Protection
• Skills for Care Induction programme

Specialist Training
We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment for our staff .We endeavour to ensure our clients are confident to receive competent staff. This includes specialist training in the following area: according to the needs of the service users:

- Physical intervention MAPA training: We are an accredited MAPA ® Training Centre by Positive Options.
We recognise that staff members need to familiarise themselves with the service users before commencing work. We thus allow our staff to be inducted through shadowing of a qualified or experienced person in the field.
