Following our latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) assessment, House of the Flame Lily has achieved an Overall Good rating, reflecting the significant improvements made across our service and the dedication of our staff team, service users, families, and professional partners. While previous assessments identified areas requiring improvement, the latest outcome recognises the progress made and the positive impact of the changes we have implemented.

A Journey of Learning, Improvement and Commitment

Over the past year, we have invested significantly in strengthening every aspect of our service.

This has included:

  • Introducing a new digital care planning and governance system

  • Strengthening medication management and MAR auditing processes

  • Enhancing staff competency assessments and refresher training

  • Improving Mental Capacity Act and consent documentation

  • Strengthening quality assurance and governance oversight

  • Embedding more robust auditing and monitoring processes

These improvements were not made simply to meet regulatory expectations. They were made because the people we support deserve the very best care, support, dignity and opportunities to live fulfilling lives.
